Workshops with master artisans
Block printing, miniature painting, marble inlay, hand-loom weaving — many of India's textile and craft traditions survive today because individual families kept practising them through generations when demand nearly disappeared. These workshops put guests directly in a working studio, not a demonstration stage.
Sessions are built around a single craftsperson's practice: their tools, their technique, the specific history of their family's trade. Guests leave with an object they made themselves, and a clearer sense of what the craft actually requires.
What to Expect
- A working studio, not a staged demonstration
- One-on-one time with a master craftsperson
- Hands-on practice with real materials and tools
