1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Experiences of India website and booking platform (the “Service”). By browsing, creating an enquiry, or booking a stay through the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What We Are
Experiences of India is a curated platform that connects travellers directly with independently owned and operated heritage properties — palaces, forts, havelis, royal estates and similar stays — across India. Each property listed is owned and run by the family, trust, or company named on its listing. Experiences of India is not itself a hotel operator; we facilitate discovery and booking, and each property is responsible for the accommodation, services, and experience it provides during your stay.
3. Bookings & Payments
When you submit a booking through the Service, you are entering into a booking arrangement with the relevant property for the dates, room, and rate shown at the time of booking. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise noted and may vary by season, availability, and property policy. We make reasonable efforts to keep pricing and availability accurate but do not guarantee that displayed rates are error-free at every moment.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are set by each individual property and are shown on the property and room pages at the time of booking. Please review a property’s specific cancellation policy before completing a booking — these terms vary by property and are binding once a booking is confirmed.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate guest and contact information when booking.
- Comply with each property’s house rules, check-in requirements, and local regulations during your stay.
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to submit fraudulent bookings or enquiries.
6. Property Listings
Properties and hoteliers who list on Experiences of India (see List Your Property) are responsible for the accuracy of their own listing details, room availability, and pricing, and for honouring bookings made in good faith through the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
The Experiences of India name, logo, and site design are the property of Experiences of India. Property photography and descriptions belong to their respective properties or licensed sources and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Experiences of India is not liable for the acts, omissions, or conditions of any independently operated property listed on the Service, including the quality of accommodation, safety, or any loss arising from your stay. Your relationship with the property once a stay begins is directly with that property.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
